We strive to provide leadership and support to all its members, considering the specific needs experienced community-wide and addressing them all with an interest of serving the whole through serving its parts.

BANGLADESHI ASSOCIATION OF THE GREATER MONCTON AREA (BAGMA) has the following Goals and Objectives:

• Formally represent, help, and grow Bangladeshi community of Greater Moncton area, NB
• Celebrate Bangladeshi and Bengali culture as a community
• Get our next generations familiarized with our heritage
• Support social Integration of all Bangladeshis into Greater Moncton Area
• Collaborate with other Communities in Greater Moncton Area
• Use this as a platform to showcase our community in larger audience and multicultural groups

The activities may include (but not limited to) the following:

• Practice Bangladeshi cultures and customs
• Community togetherness in national and regional celebrations
• Organize Community activities such as sports
• Involve youth members to inherit culture
• Transparency in communication
• Establish accountability
• Sharing professional knowledge & experiences
• Newcomer integration program
• Assistances on special need
• Learning center for kids- language, music, dance etc.
• Bengali book club
• Scholarship for students, charity etc.
• Participate in municipal, provincial & Federal programs
• Partnership with multicultural association across NB
• Participate in multicultural exhibitions on behalf
• Create membership perks via partnership
• Cultural companionship with other cultural groups
